JOB DESCRIPTION

SIRIM Berhad is a well-established corporate entity responsible to lead and enhance technology and quality in Malaysia.  We urgently seek qualified and dynamic professionals who are ready for a challenging career to join us as:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct the testing activities in the laboratory in order to achieve the targeted revenue and produce quality test reports in timely manner.
• Supervise and coordinate the testing activities in the laboratory in order to achieve the targeted revenue.
• Implement quality matters in the laboratory to meet and attain the scope of accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 requirements at all time.
• Participate in the standards development activity on matters pertaining to Fire Safety and Prevention field as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in fire testing is an advantage.
• Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Knowledge in Auto – Cad.
• Able to work both independently and in a team.
• Computer literate.
• Self-motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in hot and dusty environment.
